Aiakos is a file-defined control plane for teams of AI coding agents. Describe the team in files you can share — roles, skills, culture, who hands work to whom — and Aiakos launches the agents, keeps them observable, routes messages and work between them, and keeps you in the loop.
Define it in files
A rig is a team: seats, roles, skills and a culture file, versioned in git and shareable as a bundle. Machine, secret and tenant details stay in a separate local binding.
Run and observe
Claude Code first, then OpenCode and Codex. Every seat has an address and an honest state — working, idle, needs input or unknown — from hooks and events, not screen scraping.
Stay in the loop
A work queue where nothing vanishes, approvals when agents need you, and updates on Telegram or Slack. Run locally with your subscriptions, or sandboxed with API keys.
Why "Aiakos"?
In Greek myth, when plague emptied the island of Aegina, Zeus answered the prayer of its king, Aiakos (Αιακός), by turning the island's ants into people — the Myrmidons, a disciplined and loyal crew. Aiakos summons the crew, governs it and judges its work. That is the job of this tool.
Status
Aiakos is in its first stage: the design and decisions are written down, and the first spikes are underway. From its first milestone on, Aiakos is built by an Aiakos-managed team of agents. Follow the roadmap or read the decisions.
